Sometimes in my career I get to be apart of something a little extra special. October 2017 I got to not only be a Bridesmaid for one of my oldest and closest friends, but I had the privilege of floral styling her big day!
The Ceremony
Alicia and Richard's wedding ceremony was held at the gorgeous Valley of Peace Venue, Christchurch. They shared their vows over looking native planting and a rustic style barn.
The Bridal Party
Alicia held a rich textured posy of Peony Roses, Roses, Viburnum 'Snow Balls', Jasmine, Lime Button Chrysanthemums, Dusty Millar and Ruscus leaves. Bound in white satin ribbon with a strip of black and white polka dot detail.
She finished off her look with red rose blooms nestled into her curls.
The four Bridesmaids carried smaller posies of Peony Roses, Roses in peach and pink shades,Viburnum 'Snow Balls' with Jasmine and Dusty Miller foliage. Bound in white satin ribbon.
Richard sported a red Rose buttonhole bound in black satin ribbon while his Groomsmen wore the peach toned rose to tie in with the Bridesmaids posies.
The Reception
The reception dinner was held in the venues iconic big red barn where long white table cloths were topped with crates of vibrant blooms.
The arrangements were made up of purple Stock, Lime Button Chrysanthemums, Roses, Iris, Viburnum 'Snow Balls', Jasmine and of course Rosemary for remembrance.
The tables were numbered with personalized vinyls.
Congratulations Alicia & Richard
