Easter weekend was a special one for me this year, amongst all of the usual revelry I got to be Maid of Honor for my gorgeous bestie Sarah and create the floral arrangements for her wedding day!
Guests were welcomed to the venue by a chalk board with a outline of the day.
The Ceremony
Sarah and Dan's wedding ceremony was held on The Meadow at Fairfield House in the heart of Nelson. They exchanged their vows up on the terraces looking down on family and friends surrounded by Oak trees and native woodland.
The Bridal party was framed by two Grecian urns of white Oriental Lilies, dusty pink Roses, Chrysanthemums, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Ivy and Dahlia blooms.
The Bridal Party
Sarah and her Bridesmaids held textured bouquets of dusty pink and white roses, Gypsophilia, Queens Anne's Lace, white Hydrangea, Rose Hips, Sedum, Rosemary, Fern, Olive leaf, Ivy and Eucalyptus foliage. The bouquets stems were bound in ivory satin ribbon and secured with pearl headed pins.
Sarah finished off her Bridal look with a cluster of miniature Rose blooms and Gypsophilia in her hair.
The Reception
The reception was set up in the courtyard of Fairfield House. Long trestle tables were dressed with white table cloths and burlap runners finished off with wood rounds and mason jars of eclectic blooms in cream and dusty pink.
The surfaces in the Ballroom were adorned with glass milk bottles of roses, Queen Anne's Lace and Olive Foliage.
Their elegant wedding cake was topped with a floral foam arrangement of Roses, Dahlia and Eucalyptus foliage.
Congratulations Sarah and Dan!!
Love you guys!!
